Good Photos vs. Bad Photos



Good Photos
This is a good photo because it follows the rule of thirds, and the person is not the focal point of the photo.
 This is a good photo because the center of attention is placed to the right side, not the center, and it also has a second focal point that helps tell the story.

Bad Photos

 This is a bad photo because the re is too much going on, and it is hard to focus on the main thing.
This is a bad photo because there is a lot going on in it the reflection and the people and the numbers are too much. If the reflection was removed this would be a good photo. It would follow the rule of thirds and have a good story.

  1. Interesting images. The rule of thirds is definitely important, but there are other elements that contribute to good v. bad photography. I would have liked a bit more depth to your critique! Especially in the first photo...clearly the dramatic cloud formations and the lighting define this pic.
